Jim Pfeiffer, who will take the helm as President and Chief Executive Officer at Self Regional Healthcare next month, spent his first couple of hours as President-Elect Monday morning meeting and greeting hospital staff as they reported for work. Here he makes the acquaintance of Rosa Alexander of Hospitality Services. Pfeiffer comes to Self Regional from Tampa, Fla. where he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Morton Plant Mease Healthcare. He will succeed M. John Heydel, who will retire Aug. 8 after serving the past 10 years as President and CEO of Self Regional.
